Beyond the Academic Curriculum: Enriching Your Child’s Learning Experience with Spanish

At our after-school Spanish Enrichment Club, we believe in providing more than just academic support. We aim to enrich the learning experience by offering opportunities for cultural immersion and language development. Our Spanish programs are designed to foster creativity, communication, and curiosity, all while ensuring that your child develops strong language skills that will benefit them both academically and personally.

A Holistic Approach to Learning:

Our Spanish classes offer a holistic learning experience, enhancing your child’s academic development by improving cognitive abilities like memory, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Through social engagement in Spanish, children also build valuable skills like collaboration, empathy, and teamwork.

Fostering a Lifelong Love of Learning:

We aim to foster a lifelong love of learning by sparking curiosity about languages, cultures, and the world. Our after-school club prepare students for future language studies and help them embrace the opportunities that come with being bilingual.

Healthy Snack to Fuel Learning (OPTIONAL):

Additionally, to support students' health and energy, we provide a daily, nutritious snack that is nut-free and gluten-free. These balanced snacks, including fresh fruit, yogurt, and vegetable sticks, help keep children energized and focused for their learning activities. (The fees are listed below).

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Does my child need previous experience with Spanish?

No. Previous Spanish experience is not required. Our program welcomes students with different levels of Spanish, including complete beginners.

Spanish instruction and activities are adapted to students' ages and language levels, allowing each child to develop their skills at an appropriate pace.

2. Do you provide transportation from school?

Yes. School pickup is available from select schools located near our San Marino learning center, based on the school's location, dismissal time, and transportation availability.

Please contact us to confirm whether pickup is available from your child's school.

3. How does tuition work?

Tuition is paid monthly according to the enrollment plan selected. We do not offer daily or weekly payment arrangements.

Monthly enrollment reserves your child's regular days in the program and allows us to plan staffing, transportation, and available space based on consistent enrollment.

4. What if my child can only attend one day per week?

For families who are unable to commit to our regular two, three, or five-day plans, we may offer a one-day-per-week option for $228 per month. This option is subject to availability based on the requested day, schedule, and current enrollment.

The selected day must remain the same each week. This option is for the student's regular school schedule only and does not include minimum days or occasional/drop-in attendance.

5. Can I change my child's regular attendance days?

Schedule changes may be requested in advance and are subject to availability.

Advance notice is required so we have time to coordinate school transportation and available space. A schedule change is not confirmed until we have verified that we can accommodate the requested day.

6. What happens if my child is absent because of illness or an emergency?

If your child misses a scheduled day because of illness or an emergency, tuition will be adjusted for the missed day.

Please notify us as soon as possible, preferably at least 24 hours in advance when possible.

If your child receives school pickup, please also let us know so we can adjust our transportation schedule.

7. What if we have a planned absence or family vacation?

If your child will be absent for one full week or longer due to a family vacation or another planned absence, tuition will be adjusted for that period.

Because these absences are planned, we ask families to notify us at least two weeks in advance so the adjustment can be made before the next monthly payment.

8. How are holidays handled?

Individual holidays and single-day program closures are included in the monthly tuition and are not prorated or refunded.

If the program is closed for one full week or longer for a scheduled holiday or extended break, tuition will be adjusted for that period.

9. What happens on regular early dismissal days?

If your child's school has a regular weekly early dismissal day, that schedule is included in the program for students who are regularly enrolled on that day.

We will pick up students at their regular early dismissal time at no additional charge.

10. What happens on minimum days?

Minimum days related to holidays, parent-teacher conferences, school events, or other special school schedules are not included in the regular monthly program.

Earlier school pickup and additional care may be available with advance notice and are subject to availability. An additional fee will apply for the extra program hours.

Minimum-day service is not available as part of the one-day-per-week option.

11. Who can enroll in the optional snack program?

The optional snack program is available for students enrolled three or five days per week for $35 per month.

12. What happens if I pick up my child after 6:00pm?

The After-School Enrichment Club ends at 6:00pm, with a 5-minute grace period for pickup.

After the grace period, a late pickup fee of $1 per minute will apply.

If you expect to be late, please contact us as soon as possible. The late fee helps cover the additional staff time required to supervise students beyond program hours.
